The Bobrick B-505 Recessed Specimen Pass-Thru Cabinet is a convenient way to handle urine and other fluid and tissue cultures for processing in a laboratory and can be used by patients in a restroom or medical staff within a physician's office, hospital or testing center. The unit requires a rough opening that measures 11-1/2 inches in width by 10-7/8 inches in height and can be used in walls and other hard surfaces that are 3 inches to 5-3/4 inches in thickness. The design of the unit includes a type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel door on both sides of the unit. The doors are both equipped with a full-length stainless steel piano hinge and have a cast aluminum pull knob for easy opening. The cabinet and the pair of mounting flanges are made of type-304, 22-gauge stainless steel. All of the exposed surfaces in the specimen pass-thru cabinet have an attractive, smudge-resistant, yet luminous, satin finish.
