The Black Box LGC5211A Gigabit PoE+ Media Converter extends your network over fiber while simultaneously powering Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices. Ideal for connecting remote IP security cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.

* Extends network connections up to 550 meters (1804 ft.) over multimode fiber.
* Equipped with two autosensing 10/100/1000 UTP ports and one multimode fiber SC port.
* Supports 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE+) on both UTP ports to power PoE+ PD devices.
* Flexible power options: AC power supply (sold separately), DC power jack, or DC terminal block.
* Supports an extended operating temperature range of 0 to +70 degrees C when powered via the DC terminal block.
* Powers both the converter and a PoE+ device from a single power source.
* Allows PoE+ devices to be positioned up to 100 meters (328 feet) from the converter.
